AMEYALLI PLANTS
🌱 Ameyalli Agriculture: The Science of Native Cultivation

Ameyalli plants are cultivated exclusively in the ancestral wetlands of WassaMassaW, on a sacred stretch of land known today as Pure Native Farms, also called Franklin Farms. Our land is alive—shaped by water, enriched by time, and sustained through natural regeneration. Our farm spans over 100 acres and is divided into eight evenly spaced cultivation zones, each uniquely connected to a low-impact irrigation and feeding system. Here, we practice more than agriculture—we practice reciprocity with the land.

💧 Native Springs & Floodplain Wisdom

Beneath our fields rise native mineral springs, flowing with a litany of abiotic nutrients—calcium, magnesium, sulfur, and trace elements—delivered through naturally alkaline water. These waters nourish not only our crops but also the very soil they rest in.

Following seasonal rainfalls, our lands flood—a natural rhythm long embraced by our ancestors. When the waters recede, they leave behind a thick, decadent layer of organic debris:

-
Leaf litter
-
Plant material
-
Decomposing bark
-
Insects, microbes, and forest biomass
We blend this matter back into the soil—a living compost of the preserve itself—recharging our fields with biotic richness, enzymes, and microbial intelligence that fuel the next generation of growth.

🌿 Soil Intelligence & Terpene Expression

The biotic (living) and abiotic (non-living) factors of our WassaMassaW soil work in harmony to awaken the full expression of each plant. This terroir—dark and humic—infuses our crops with strength, complexity, and purpose. As our plants grow, they interact with the land’s microbiome, triggering a surge in secondary metabolites—most notably, terpenes. These natural compounds are developed by the plant to survive and thrive in the competitive, nutrient-rich environment of the preserve.

Each terpene tells the story of the field it grew in:

-
The resilience of Caryophyllene shaped by sun-drenched competition
-
The soothing depth of Linalool developed in cooler, shaded pockets
-
The sharpness of Pinene born from flood-cleansed root systems
Our soils don’t just support plant life—they shape plant identity.

🧪 Adaptive Practices & Cyclical Stewardship

We test our soil three times during each growth cycle:

-
Pre-Planting: to understand what the land already offers
-
Mid-Growth: to adapt to how the plant is responding
-
Pre-Harvest: to prepare the field for its next rest

Each field receives a tailored nutrient schedule, updated weekly, based on:

-
Stage of plant development
-
pH and moisture content
-
Terpene targets and observable plant feedback
We never extract more than the land is willing to give. Our commitment is not just to growth, but to regrowth.

🔄 The Regenerative Promise of WassaMassaW

Ameyalli agriculture is regenerative by design. Through flood cycles, native mineral inputs, and biotic decomposition, the land restores itself. We work in rhythm with nature—not against it—enriching the soil through presence, not pressure.
Our methods are rooted in tradition, elevated by observation, and trusted by time.
This is Native Science in Practice:
Rooted in the land. Informed by the earth. Powered by tradition.
